In the interview for The Guardian, Anderson admitted that she doesn’t really have a great relationship with David, and it’s the opposite of what we’ve seen on The X-Files.
She said the two have a love-hate relationship, even saying that there were certain periods when they couldn’t even look at each other because of how annoyed they were.

The popular actor who plays Mulder, David Duchovny, started his acting career in the 1980s.
His first appearances on TV were in the films “Working Girl” and “New Year’s Day”.
In the following years, David’s good looks and charm brought him even bigger roles in the films “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead”, “Baby Snatcher” and “Beethoven”.
In 1992, David got his first major role in a TV series called “Red Shoe Diaries”, in which he starred for 66 episodes.
Some of the major roles he’s had to date include roles in the TV series “Californication” and “Aquarius”.
Although Duchovny has a very rich acting career, the role he has always been known for is his portrayal of Agent Fox Mulder in the X-Files franchise.
He first portrayed Agent Mulder in the 1993 series “The X-Files”, in which he was the main character for 191 episodes during the 25 years he filmed.
He appeared again as Agent Mulder in the 1998 films “The-X Files”, “The Lone Gunmen” and “The-X Files: I Want to Believe”.
Who is Gillian Anderson from The X-Files?
Like her colleague David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson began her acting career in the 1980s, with her on-screen debut in the short film “Three at Once”.
Over the next few years, Gillian’s acting career blossomed as she landed roles in the TV series “Class of ’96”, “ReBoot”, as well as in the films “Chicago Cab” and “The Mighty”.
Anderson joined the main cast of The X-Files in 1993 as Agent Dona Scully and stayed until the show’s end in 2018.
In addition to this lead role, Gillian also starred in numerous TV series such as “Bleak House”, “Any Human Heart”, “Great Expectations”, “Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter”, “Hannibal” and “Sex Education”.
