The latest WhatsApp photo update will change your experience for the better. Know how.

WhatsApp has loads of features that can make your online experience that much better. In addition, users continue to benefit from various WhatsApp updates that are rolled out from time to time. The latest will make your WhatsApp photos experience so much better now. WhatsApp just fixed an issue that has been haunting users for a long time. What is that problem? When you share images or videos in the form of documents, something annoying happens – no preview of the image or video is displayed. You have to download it to find out what it is all about. This can be very frustrating when you’re dealing with multiple images. You may end up looking at many images before finding the one you want.

Now here’s the hack! You don’t have to solve this annoying problem with images and videos shared as documents. How? As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is introducing new media file viewing features. They are currently working on a new way to preview when sharing images and videos as documents. That means sharing high quality images will now be easier without distorting their quality and spamming the chats with non-vivid documented files as the preview in the chat window will give a preview which should be enough to identify it .

WABetaInfo shared a screenshot of the feature, showing that you and even the recipient can now know the contents of the document before downloading or opening it. However, WhatsApp is currently only rolling out this feature to certain beta testers. At this point, there is no preview option for both the sender and recipient to know what that document contains in it. It just shows the name of the file along with it. WABetaInfo has revealed that “WhatsApp plans to enable image preview in the next few updates, so make sure to update WhatsApp beta whenever you see a new update on the Play Store!”
