PUBG Battlegrounds brings Deston Map with skyscrapers and wetlands, new vehicles and much more.
PUBG Battlegrounds will likely launch a new map soon. Krafton, the game’s developer, has released the teaser of the new Deston Map via a tweet. They tweeted: “The next 8×8 Battleground comes with update 18.2. Welcome to Deston.” The new map will feature exciting elements such as skyscrapers and wetlands, the teaser hints at various locations such as swamps, skyscrapers and what sounds like new vehicles, and it also looks like the players will be able to drive small boats across wetlands and fight over water. enter into the new map.
PUBG Battlegrounds even posted the details of Kiki Map in one of its blog posts. They shared: “The goodness of 8×8 doesn’t end with Tiger. Our 4th 8×8 map will be launched in late 2021/early 2022. Kiki will boast a diverse array of locations, from mysterious underground labs to massive skyscrapers to wetlands to subways to underwater buildings – we look at many different locations to excite and challenge survivors in our most diverse and exploration-focused Battleground yet.”
The addition of skyscrapers to the PUBG Battlegrounds map will be a big change for the players. This is the game’s first experimentation with verticality and taller structures.
Meanwhile, Krafton recently launched the first images of his virtual human Ana. Powered by hyper-realism, rigging and deep learning, she is designed to “engage a global audience and help build Krafton’s Web 3.0 ecosystem.” She was developed using “Unreal Engine” which exhibits a hyper-realistic look and blurs the lines between a digital character and a real human being. She also has human-like features, such as the baby hairs and fluff on her skin, while the highly advanced facial rigging technology expresses the movement of the pupil, fine facial muscles and wrinkles. The advanced voice synthesis used to create Ana’s voice allowed her to act and sing like a real human being.
