Pokemon Go All-Hands Rocket Retreat event adds the Slithery Salandit and Salazzle

Team Go Rocket will soon be living island life in a new limited-time event: the Pokemon Go All-Hands Rocket Retreat.

The event kicks off on April 3 at noon local time and runs through April 7 at 11:59 pm local time, and the fiendish Team Go Rocket will attempt to steal some of Alola’s rarest Pokemon. Players can complete event-themed research tasks that grant them special rewards, including the ability to capture Shadow Latias.

The Alolan forms of Rattata, Exeggutor, and Sandshrew will join the Shadow ranks in this new event.

The event also adds two new Alolan Pokemon to the game: the Fire and Poison type Salandit and its evolution Salazzle. It takes 50 Salandit candies to evolve Salandit into Salazzle, but only a female Salandit can evolve, so make sure you get the right one.
