Krafton Inc., the publisher of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), has announced iQOO as the title sponsor for four eSports tournaments, all set to take place in 2022.

Krafton, the publisher of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), has named the smartphone brand iQOO as the title sponsor of BGMI 2022 esports tournaments. According to the company, BGMI will host four tournaments for all Indian gamers in 2022. The competitions will feature cash prizes worth Rs. 6 million dollars. In addition, there will be other prizes as well as national and international opportunities for the gamers to make a name for themselves. The company stated that the partnership will strengthen iQOO’s vision to contribute to India’s mobile game industry and esports community, while providing a platform for game enthusiasts to showcase their talent.

iQOO becomes title sponsor for 4 BGMI tournaments in 2022

There will be four BGMI tournaments divided into pro and semi-professional categories. The tournaments include Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge (BMOC), Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2022 Season 1, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2022 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2022 Season 2. The four tournaments have a total prize pool of Rs. 6 million. The two seasons of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) have a prize pool of Rs. 2 crores each.

Krafton has claimed that this edition of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) will be bigger than the previous edition. BGMI stated that the goal of the esports tournaments is to provide players across India with a platform to showcase their skills and create a niche for themselves.
