The PUBG Mobile 1.9 update has been released and brings a wide range of changes, including a new area, an anniversary event, supply store upgrades and more. View the details.

The PUBG Mobile 1.9 update is finally here. Players on both Android and iOS can now download all the new that comes with it. Players should update the game at the earliest, as the publishers have announced that anyone who installs the new update before March 22 will receive 3,000 BP, 100 AG, and a Nocturnal Rhapsody helmet (for three days). The main highlight of this update is the new anniversary event marking the 4 years since the game’s release. Interestingly, PUBG Mobile was first released four years ago, today on March 19, 2018. Let’s take a look at everything new and exciting in this update.

PUBG Mobile 1.9 Update

The new update brings many new features and events into the game and also improves existing features to make it better. There is a new arena, anniversary event, dogfights, bicycles and much more to be discovered.

Vibrant Anniversary Event

A new game mode has been released to celebrate the 4th anniversary of PUBG Mobile. It is available on the Erangel and Livik maps. In this mode, players can see four giant statues that players can paint in different colors, which will trigger a special performance.

air battlefields

In the anniversary event, players can take part in dogfights. These battlefields will have colorful outfits that players can wear. Whenever a player is shot, the head cover, which is shaped like a balloon, expands and pulls the player into the air. Teammates can shoot him to shrink the headgear and bring him back to the ground. Any player killed on this battlefield will reappear. This mode will only exist for the first five minutes of the game.

Colorful bike

The PUBG Mobile 1.9 update also brings bikes to the game. These are folding mountain bikes that players can carry in the bag. The bikes cannot be destroyed and make very little noise, making it a great way to sneak around the map.

Royal Arena: Attack

This new mode will be available from April 7th and will be available on Erangel and Livik. Any part of the map is chosen as the battle zone and a 4vs4 battle ensues. The first team to reach the elimination milestone wins.

Improvements to existing features

• The number of supply stores has increased by a significant margin and the costs of supply have also changed. AWM and Ghillie suits are no longer available in Erangel and Livik card stores.

• In the Unranked Modes and the Vivid Ranked Anniversary Modes, each player will have a chance to return to the battlefield after being eliminated with the Recall function. Teammates can recall players using the recall tower.

• The bridge to the military base at Erangel has been upgraded with a platform on both sides. It is designed to provide more cover for players who want to cross.

Disclaimer: Please note that PUBG Mobile is banned in India. Indian players can instead play and enjoy the Indian version of the battle royale game called Battlegrounds Mobile India or BGMI.
